Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Anniston, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend coverage /n• Option for 4x12 shift schedule /n• Float to like units as needed /n• Possible charge nurse responsibilities as needed /n• Patient ratio of 1:6 for all shifts /n• 30-minute lunch break required with no skipped meals /n• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations /n• 30-bed medical surgical unit /n• 1 year of experience required /n• Previous charge experience preferred /n• Level II trauma experience preferred /n• Travel experience preferred /n• Alabama nursing license required /n• Current BLS via AHA and Fit Test required /n• NIHSS certification preferred /n• Skills include IV starts, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, blood product administration, peripheral line care, PICC line management, heparin administration, insulin administration, PCA management, surgical drains, nasal cannula, and oxygen administration /n• Charting system experience required /n• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed /n• Must adhere to call-in policy /n• Locals considered within 60-mile radius /n• Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a 30-bed medical surgical unit providing comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
