Overview of Position

  • This role performs and supports Business to Business (B2B) corporate contract billing. No medical claims billing experience is required nor is medical claims billing performed in this role. Knowledge of interactions and relationships between entities within the U.S. healthcare system is required.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
    • Perform a variety of analytical functions including the review and management of large data sets to ensure customer billing accuracy and comply with internal controls
    • Analyze customer contracts and execute accurate set up of billing rules within billing system(s)
    • Adhere to SOX and other internal controls and procedures
    • Lead and assist with continuous process improvement projects related to billing controls, quality, and efficiency, automation opportunities
    • Research and resolve complex billing issues utilizing analytical and reporting tools as well as collaborating with cross functional peers
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all customer invoices
    • Uploading Monthly Billing Files to Oracle - Clinical Reviews Risk, Clinical Reviews HEDIS, Reimbursables- Clinical Reviews Risk, Reimbursables- Clinical Reviews HEDIS, HEDIS Quality Performance Reporting & Rate Reporting & Analytics Preparing all Clinical Reviews Risk Accruals & HEDIS CR Revenue Reversing Accrual Creating Centene Pivots for Clinical Reviews Risk Billing New Customer Creation in Oracle & Access Database Maintaining and Updating Customer Profiles in Oracle Merging all Monthly Uploads Files into Access & Excel File
      What are the requirements needed for this position?
      • 3-5+ years successful financial/accounting experience; billing experience, collections, and accounts receivable experience
      • Experience analyzing customer contracts
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels within the company
      • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel, with a proficiency in database management, pivot tables and vlookups
      • Critical thinking skills to understand unique process exceptions and develop appropriate resolutions
      • High level of attention to detail and organizational skillsWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
        • Oracle experience preferred
        • Basic SQL query writing
