Job Description:

customers need it most. This position Analyzes the profitability of
APD's major product lines and programs. Focus on developing reports
and analytics to support financial operations and special requests,
including cost/benefit analysis, compensation analysis,
budget/forecast projections, acquisitions, and other strategic
initiatives. Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis -- Support APD's major product lines and
programs, including identifying, analyzing, and reporting of
profitability and other trends to Management; and special
requests.
- Financial Reporting Support -- Includes developing and
maintaining reports for the Financial Reporting team, reconciling
and analyzing results.
- Scorecard - Responsible for the development and support of APD
scorecard
- Financial Projections -- Assist in the development and
preparation of APD financial projections and plans to support the
APD leadership in making strategic business decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements/Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, with a Master's degree
and/or CPA certification highly desirable.
- Individual must have advanced proficiency with MS Excel and
SQL.
- AS400 query skills a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years financial/insurance experience
necessary.
- Individual must be self-directing, exercise judgment in
planning and organizing and must have advanced skills in acquiring
data and analyzing results.
- Knowledge of insurance industry, GAAP and statutory accounting
and strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Minimal travel may be required.Protective's targeted salary
range for this position is $93,000 to $130,000. Actual salaries may
vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job
location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one
component of Protective's total compensation package for
employees.This position also offers additional incentive
opportunities [through an annual incentive based on individual and
Company performance] OR [through cash compensation as part of a
