POSITION SUMMARY The payroll auditor works with department
leadership to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of
payroll processes. This role involves conducting audits of payroll
records to include the timecard and schedule, identifying
discrepancies or risks, and preventing potential errors with
department leaders. This position will also train others in proper
payroll practices and provide payroll processing support as
directed. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related
field preferred. Equivalent combination of education anad relevant
payroll experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum
Experience 2 years of payroll, auditing or data analysis
experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Required
Registration/License/Certification N/A Preferred Education Master’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related
field preferred. Preferred Experience 3 years of payroll, auditing
or data analysis experience. Knowledge of payroll systems and
auditing methodologies.
