Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts. This is a part time Seasonal Contract position that requires strong attention to detail and expertise in individual tax preparation. You will play a key role in assisting clients with their tax filings while ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and submit individual tax returns with accuracy and efficiency. • Analyze financial records, including income statements and balance sheets, to identify potential deductions and credits. • Stay informed on the latest tax laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance. • Collaborate with clients to collect necessary documentation and ensure all required information is complete. • Utilize ProSystem FX tax software to manage tax preparation and filing processes. • Review completed tax forms for accuracy and compliance before submission. • Provide attentive and responsive communication to address client inquiries and concerns. • Maintain strict confidentiality of client financial information. • Work closely with the team to meet deadlines during the busy tax season. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax preparation. • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. • Proficiency in using ProSystem FX tax software. • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations affecting individual tax filings. • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. • Ability to manage multiple clients and adhere to strict deadlines. • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
