Job Description Job Description Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Clerk to join our team. This role supports day-to-day payroll operations by processing payroll transactions, ensuring accurate employee payments, maintaining payroll documentation, and reconciling payroll-related records. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced administrative or finance environment. Responsibilities Assist with processing payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring employee hours, pay rates, and deductions are entered correctly. Track and reconcile payroll documentation, including time records and payroll-related approvals. Prepare and distribute payments (e.g., checks or direct deposit confirmations) in accordance with established procedures. Resolve payroll discrepancies by researching issues, verifying supporting documentation, and coordinating corrections. Maintain organized payroll files and ensure proper recordkeeping for audits and compliance needs. Provide customer support to employees regarding payroll questions, pay statements, and basic payroll processes. Support the finance/HR team with payroll reporting and administrative tasks as needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
