Job Description:

Cahaba Medical Care FoundationPosition: Front Office ClerkReports to: Reception Team LeadDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Scan documents into electronic medical record
  • Mark no-shows in electronic medical record
  • Call to confirm appointments
  • Mail all letters from the front office out and scan those in
  • Handle reception tasks for specialty clinics
  • Checks behind receptionist using sign in sheets to verify patient information is correct
  • Make copies
  • Assist social work department
  • Fax documents
  • Other clerical assignments as directed by the Reception Coordinator or Office ManagerSkills / Qualifications Needed:
    • Ability to use EMR software and basic office software
    • Good telephone skills
    • Accuracy and thoroughness in detail intensive tasks
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPay range $10/hour
