Heidelberg Materials, a prominent leader in the construction materials industry, is looking for a dedicated Ready Mix Driver to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial for the efficient delivery of ready-mixed concrete to various construction sites while ensuring safety and complying with transportation regulations. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that demands precision and timeliness. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a ready-mix truck to transport and unload concrete. You will also maintain communication with dispatch and site managers to confirm delivery details and optimize service levels. Operate ready-mix concrete trucks to transport and deliver products to construction sites. Ensure the maintenance of cleanliness and operational capability of the vehicle by performing pre- and post-trip inspections. Communicate with dispatch and/or site managers to verify delivery details. Comply with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Adjust the work methods in relation to site conditions for efficient delivery of concrete. Document transportation logs, and maintain accurate records of deliveries. Ability to operate heavy machinery, specifically ready-mix concrete trucks. Strong communication and coordination skills. Understanding of the basic maintenance of heavy vehicles.
