Job Description Job Description The College of Arts and Sciences
is seeking one or more qualified individuals to serve as on-ground
Adjunct Faculty members for the Department of Social and Behavioral
Sciences. The teaching responsibilities will be at the
undergraduate level during daytime hours. The chosen individuals
will teach a variety of Psychology courses and complete assessment
documents as directed by the Social and Behavioral Science Chair.
Appointments are offered on a per course basis. Continued contracts
are contingent upon department needs. Faulkner University is a
Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ. The
successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to
Christ-centered Liberal Arts education, Christian service, the
mission of Faulkner University, and student support. Initial
contract offerings may begin as early as Spring 2026.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Psychology or a related degree
with 18 graduate hours in Psychology; terminal degree preferred
Teaching experience at the college level or demonstrated teaching
ability Experience in using LMS (Blackboard, Canvas, etc.) Active
member of the church of Christ preferred For initial application
