Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting
opportunity is available for a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to support an elementary school setting in Trussville, AL.
This contract position provides an engaging caseload of
approximately 20 students ranging from PreK to 2nd grade. Whether
you are seeking full-time hours or part-time flexibility, this role
offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners
communication development. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct
speech and language services focusing on early intervention and
ongoing therapy Conduct evaluations to assess student needs and
progress Collaborate with educators and families to support
individualized student goals Manage a caseload of 20 children,
primarily in PreK and K-2nd grade Adhere to school schedules with a
bell start time of 7:15am or 8:00am, ending at 2:00pm to
accommodate car pickup Qualifications and Experience: Valid Alabama
SLP license required Experience working with early childhood
through elementary populations in school settings preferred SLP
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and completion of Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) highly desired Strong ability to provide
evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring services
Effective communication and collaboration skills within a school
