Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a dedicated Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
to support multiple school districts in Washington County, PA. This
full-time position offers a chance to work onsite with a diverse
K-12 caseload, providing specialized educational services to
students with visual impairments. The role requires travel between
various district sites within the county. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instructional services to visually impaired
students across multiple districts. Develop and implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet student needs.
Collaborate with district staff, families, and specialists to
support student success. Conduct assessments and provide necessary
adaptations or assistive technology. Maintain accurate
documentation and comply with relevant state and federal
regulations. Manage a caseload that spans students in grades K-12,
ensuring comprehensive coverage. Qualifications: Active
certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).
Experience working with K-12 visually impaired students. Ability to
travel regularly between multiple district locations within
Washington County. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Work Details: Location: Washington County, PA (Uniontown area)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Contract position
commencing ASAP through June 16, 2026 Onsite presence required This
