world. Raytheon's Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA)
Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering,
and signal processing technology within Raytheon. The department is
responsible for the design, development, integration, and support
to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products.
This position is for a multi-disciplined Senior Radar
Receiver/Exciter Integration & Test Engineer. What You Will Do:
Solve complex technical problems and provide highly innovative and
ingenious solutions in Radar and Receiver Exciter design, analysis,
integration, and test. Liaison between many Radar system
components. Responsible for Radar Receiver Exciter data analysis
and calibration, integration of hardware with firmware and
software, and resolving system level issues that may stem from
software or hardware anomalies. Support system and subsystem level
radar integration planning, execution, and reporting. Resolve
complex technical issues seen during design, integration, and test
of Radar Receiver and Exciter sub-systems. Analyze Radar and
Receiver data to identify and resolve system performance issues.
Develop calibration solutions for receiver/exciters to meet top
level radar performance specifications. Work across mechanical,
electrical, software and systems engineering disciplines to
troubleshoot hardware and software issues outside of Receiver and
Exciter Subsystems. May require up to a one (1) year assignment at
a different location, such as shipyard locations (i.e. Huntington
Ingalls Industries (HII) Shipyard in Pascagoula, MS; Navy’s Land
Based integration facility in Mount Laurel, NJ). Requires extended
hours, as well as off-shift hours, and traveling
(Domestic/International) with short notice. This 1st shift role is
100% on-site and will be based either in Andover, Tewksbury, or
Woburn, MA, with travel between multiple sites anticipated.
Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in
Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 5 years of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree
in a related field and minimum 3 years’ of prior work experience.
Experience with RF and/or Radar systems. 3 years’ of experience in
two or more of the following areas: System or subsystem
Integration, Verification and Validation. Radar and/or receiver
systems design and integration. Programming in MATLAB, C/C++. RF
Circuit design and analysis. In-phase and quadrature (I&Q data)
processing and analysis. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.
government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a
security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in Science in Electrical/RF Engineering. Experience
interfacing with internal and external customers and finding
technical solutions to complex requirements. Experience with root
cause identification, corrective action implementation and
associated documentation. Experience with Digital Signal Processing
techniques and FPGA implementation. Advanced Microsoft Excel and
MATLAB skills. Technical background in any of the following areas:
Cascade analysis and/or frequency planning. Filter design and
fabrication. Circuit card assembly and fabrication. High speed data
converter test / characterization. Low Noise RF source design and
test experience. Radar System calibration design. I&Q data

role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a
