Job Description Job Description Control Systems Laborer Location: Helena, Montana (project?based) Contract: 1 Month (extension possible if you are willing to travel to the next project location) Pay: $22-$37/hr Overview One of Insight Global's clients is seeking a Control Systems Laborer to support their Asphalt Control System upgrade projects. This role focuses on removing outdated control systems and installing upgraded components in industrial environments. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with control wiring, basic industrial electrical work, and the ability to travel to project sites. This is a hands-on, mechanical/electrical role supporting their commitment to precision, reliability, and high-quality system replacements for our asphalt plant partners. Day to Day Responsibilities Remove existing control system components and install new systems Perform basic industrial electrical control system duties Identify, label, and terminate wires accurately Use basic hand and power tools to complete replacement tasks Work safely within industrial plant environments Follow instructions from leadership on project sequencing and system validation Support onsite technicians during system commissioning Cleaning up your working area Accurate wire labeling and termination Supporting upgrade tasks as directed by senior staff Required Experience & Qualifications 2 years of experience in: Control systems Industrial electrical controls Control wiring in an industrial plant environment High School Diploma or GED Proficiency with basic hand and power tools Ability to travel to job sites in Arkansas Capable of lifting 50lbs Ability to crouch, kneel, and work at countertop-height control cabinets Preferred Qualifications (Pluses) Certificate in Electrical Technology Prior experience with control panel components Familiarity with industrial safety practices
