Job Description Machinery Mechanic Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Machinery Mechanic for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for performing an array of duties such Pay Rate $19.00 or more per hour based on experience. Schedule and Hours 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday, 11 00 pm to 7 30 am. Machinery Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities Assemble component parts, either sub-assemblies or completed units. This will include electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, structural, and plastic parts. Use hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment to tear down and rebuild various machinery for shipment. Work in hot or cold temperatures. Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly. Machinery Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Background check, drug screen, and clean driving records are required. Must be able to stand 8, 10, or 12 hours. Physical strength and stamina lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently. Proficient in use of various hand tools. Must wear arm guards, hard hats, steel toes, and safety glasses.
