that's built for you. As a Materials and Processes Engineer you
will support a broad range of projects. You will be working side by
side with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, materials and
processing, and design engineers. You will use your education and
experience to develop and evaluate new and innovative technologies.
In this role you will: • Identify materials and processing
(M&P) related production throughput improvements, partner with
engineering, operations, and M&P SMEs to develop solutions, and
develop supporting test plans. • Participate in day-to-day
operations support by addressing quality nonconformance risks and
developing corrective actions. • Develop material characterization
test plans to support adoption of new materials. • Support
contamination control initiatives • Coordinate with other
disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality
Engineering, and Procurement Typically looking for 1 years of
professional experience This position requires security clearance;
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility located in Courtland, AL. Interested

Qualifications • Experience in Materials Engineering, demonstrated
through professional work history or relevant academic background •
Experience with one or more of the following: adhesives processing,
surface preparation, thermal protection systems, composites,
assembly and integration, or large-scale manufacturing •
Willingness/ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance;
US Citizenship Required Desired skills • Knowledge of Materials and
Processes for product development, improvement, design, application
and production • Experience establishing and implementing technical
requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.) •
Knowledge of environmental and operational requirements for
materials in space or missile applications • Work experience
independently resolving issues related to manufacturing,
development, and failure analysis • Active or Current Secret

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at

Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;
receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave,

calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major
metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is
$80,600 - $139,840. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
