Commercial Sales ManagerPosition DescriptionExemptEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and SKILLS REQUIREDHigh school diploma or equivalent. Previous service industry and Waynes Way experience preferred. Excellent leadership ability, verbal communication skills, friendliness, and ability to build rapport required. Must possess the ability to learn and communicate technical, industry-related data pertaining to the services offered by Waynes. Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills. Must have a comparable record of sales leadership experience required. Must have a clean-cut, professional image, sense of pride, integrity, courage, self-motivation, attention-to-detail, perseverance, follow-up skills, and dependability. Must display positive demeanor, professionalism, and desire to please Team Members and potential and existing customers. Must enjoy travel, working independently, speaking, and motivating large numbers of people. Must possess a valid driver's license and meet company driving standards and drug screen requirements. Builder, Realtor, and Commercial Partners)--- Utilize PowerBi/7 resources to monitor Net Growth performance (ie. sales and cancels) and hold the team accountable to our standards and operating targets--- Assist with collections, analysis of information, and share competitive informationDeliver On Our Financial Stewardship Expectations (Deliver Our Financial Return) --- Oversee execution of operating plan targets for assigned team members to ensure they yield expected revenue and net income results--- Assist assigned team with achieving or exceeding all financial targets within assigned area of responsibility (i.e.. production, sales, collections, cancels, profit)--- Manage personal expenses and help the team stay accountable to inventory controls --- Take responsibility for personal and team assigned collections and bad debt - for Customers and Partners--- Schedule and execute work in the most efficient and effective manner possible--- Utilize financial dashboard resources through Power Bi/7 to hold Team accountable for the little things that drive expected resultsCORE DUTIES* Provides leadership to the sales team.* Motivates and encourages the sales team to ensure quotas are met.* Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.* Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.* Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.* Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.* Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales strategies to meet sales quotas.* Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.* Acts as company representative at trade association meetings.* Performs other duties as assigned.SPECIAL EQUIPMENTMust possess the ability to use computers and other required technology. Must be able to drive a vehicle. Knowledge and experience in equipment operation and maintenance preferred.WORKING CONDITIONS/SCHEDULELong hours on the telephone and personal contact with Team Members, Leadership, Sales Team and Builder and other Customers. This position requires the ability to work full-time, five to six days per week, and approximately 8-10 hours per day. The Commercial Sales Supervisor reports to the Vice President of Sales.REQUIRED PHYSICAL and MENTAL DEMANDSRequires constant, seeing, mental alertness, and hearing.--Requires constant use of telephone, computer, and other technology associated. Must possess physical ability and stamina to work indoors/outdoors in various clement weather. Able to communicate with Team Members during travel. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Must have the ability to communicate clearly. A timely reply to company emails is required including evenings and weekends.SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ASSIGNMENTSRefer to specific Job Duties/Responsibilities Assigned for the defined time period (monthly, quarterly, annually).
