Job Description:

We are looking for a professional Operations Manager for a Birmingham-based technical solutions provider. The Operations Manager's role is to coordinate activities and oversee practices across the organization, including managing projects, financial and budgeting processes, and the ability to lead large teams which will include contractors.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, highly motivated, analytical, a risk-taker, and has the skillset to work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving IT industry. Also, understanding the importance of metrics, data analytics, and operations analysis are critical for this role. Candidates that have experience working on government contracts and projects are highly desired. This position also requires familiarity with local, state, and national laws and regulations for compliance.
Candidates with experience utilizing Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM platforms and metrics-driven tools are required.
Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
• Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
• Manage budgets and forecasts
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
• Recruit, train and supervise staff
• Find ways to increase the quality of customer serviceSkills
