Join us!Southern Veterinary Partners is seeking a highly collaborative, tenacious growth marketing leader whose knowledge, grit, and experience are bookended by a deeply collaborative, emotionally intelligent approach to accomplishing shared objectives.About the OpportunityReporting to SVP's Head of Marketing, the Senior Director, Organic Growth, will team closely with executive leadership to build the organic growth and share of wallet marketing technical foundation, the marketing program and capabilities, strategic plan, and lead the development of the customer value and growth plan for the company's integrated, multi-location, multi-channel solutions. Working with internal stakeholders, vendors and partners, you will directly build and manage strategic initiatives and capabilities, identify strategic partnerships, and help integrate them into the business. This is a highly collaborative, solution-oriented role that requires the balanced ability to work directly in the execution of core programs (example: share of wallet email and SMS campaign strategy, execution, and KPIs), while you build strategically (example: segmentation strategy to drive revenue growth for seasonal products and services). Responsibilities:

  • Build, execute, and direct organic growth strategy for Share of Wallet, Retention, and Referrals, and associated marketing programs with overall responsibility for developing systems, strategies, programs, and execution.
  • Ensure marketing-related measurement and reporting, associated infrastructure, working with analytics to evolve best-in-industry data management, and executive reporting on marketing's contribution to revenue, contribution profit, EBIDTA, and ROI.
  • Provide dependable advice and consultation to the VP Marketing, leveraging marketing performance data.
  • Work with field marketing partners to prioritize and execute integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Define common campaign architecture, measurement strategies and oversee the implementation of various functions as needed to support growth marketing initiatives.
  • Deliver effective change management and communications for growth marketing implementation, in partnership with other SVP teams.
  • Develop robust talent development and succession planning in alignment with functional growth strategies across the marketing organization.Preferred Background/Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in related field; Masters of Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
    • At least 10 years of experience in digital and marketing, with a minimum of five years of direct responsibility for driving significant revenue growth through consumer marketing, including omnichannel campaigns and messaging across web, email, SMS, landing pages, social media, app, etc.
    • Experience with marketing measurement analysis and delivery, including multi-location businesses with multiple business verticals and unit-level, regional, and divisional alignment
    • Demonstrated experience and strong record in building teams, and managing and developing people required.
    • Experience working in animal or human health, or retail with a strong digital growth arm required.Knowledge/Skill:
      • Expert understanding of digital and growth marketing strategies and tactics while looking beyond existing methodologies.
      • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of digital and traditional marketing initiatives to the business.
      • Expert knowledge of financial mechanisms related to digital.
      • Demonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
      • Serve as core partner to senior leaders in Business Units, Functional Groups, and Regions
      • Marketing plan development & execution, including annual campaign calendars and production schedules
      • Complex project management, communication, and coordination across multiple stakeholders and agency partners
      • Omnichannel campaign development and execution across multiple themes, channels, and seasons
      • Specific experience leading initiatives for companies with $500m+ annual revenue
      • Specific experience leading segmentation, CRM, Email, SMS. Web, Paid media, Social and Web management platforms to drive business growth
      • High level of comfort to deal with unanticipated changes (adaptability)
      • Passion for innovation and creative thinking, relentless drive to deliver tangible business results
      • Able to make tough decisions, hold people accountable, deal with risk and ambiguity
