United Ability is an organization that provides a variety of services to individuals with disabilities. We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Human Resources Director. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, supporting 10 programs within the United Ability organization. This includes employee relations, training and development, compensation, recruiting and onboarding, state and federal reporting and compliance, annual performance appraisals, and benefits design and implementation.     Collaborating with other team members, you will:

    • Function as a strategic HR advisor to the leadership of each program
    • Plan, direct, implement and evaluate policies related to all phases of Human Resources
    • Oversee, manage and implement overall employee benefit plans
    • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans
    • Manage annual employee performance evaluations
    • Implement compliance related and professional development programs for employees
    • Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, workers compensation, unemployment, employee records, and annual federal reporting

      Applicant general qualifications include:

      • Bachelor's degree required
      • 10 years of HR management experience, 5-7 years of which should be in a leadership role required
      • In-depth understand of HR laws, policies, practices, and benefits administration
      • Proficiency in HRIS/HCM system, experience with Paycom a plus
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
