Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential
duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not
limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and
expected to be performed.Manage and coordinate incoming request for
proposals, prioritizing and scheduling team members to meet
customer requirements.Perform risk analysis of projects as
required.Determine costs of standard and custom products along with
price for vendor supplied products to establish project budgets and
margins.Review the RFQ to understand its intent, requirements,
details, timing, and scope.Walk and review jobsite
conditions.Creates as detailed as possible take-offs for equipment,
structure, installation and all ancillary devices shown, specified
or needed based on the scope and overall knowledge.Continually
review all customer general specifications and standards to ensure
compliance.Estimating engineering, fabrication, assembly and
installation.Consider cost savings or value-added alternates.Review
any engineering or feasibility considerations.Establish timing plan
to accomplish SOW.Provide job field order and/or change order
estimates as required.Prepare budgetary and firm proposals along
with alternate solutions.Able to identify field interferences with
associated costs.Capable of calculating steel loads for shipments
with associated costs and delivery schedules including shipment
sizing.Prepares bid packs for the sub-contractors when
necessary.Solicits sub-contractors for bids' scope of supply not
facilitated by CC as required.Solicits vendors for pricing on
purchased equipment and / or materials.Review subcontractor's
proposal for content, price, and clarifications with a matrix of
supplier rank.Initiate pre-engineering and initial design of
complete system required by customer.Liaison with all Central
Conveyor offices providing technical support, and assist in
customer presentation and understanding the manner to which the
owner needs it presented.Review all quotes with the General
Manager.Review quotes with upper management, as required.Work with
engineering and operations as necessary to complete quote.Provide
critical as sold information, job kickoff and setup for job
budgets.Requirements:Minimum 5 yrs. experience with automotive
and/or industrial equipment, in either installation, estimating,
design or project management.A working knowledge of the
installation processes in Automotive and/or Industrial
installations of equipment and systems in any of the following;
paint shops, body shops, assembly plants, engine plants, stamping
plants, lumber yards, steel mills or chemical plants.Proficient
with MS Word and Project. and utilize Excel at an advanced
level.Requires travel, including overnight and out of country,
attend meetings and review job sites.Work well in fast paced, time
sensitive and deadline orientated environment.AutoCAD OR ACAD
TRANSLATOR - at minimum, must be able to use for reading, plotting
and dimensioning.Automotive and Industrial Project Management
training and experience is a plus.Trade management experience
leading crews of multiple disciplines is a plus.Field experience
with Conveyor Design/Build (including Power and Free, Skid,
Skillet, Pallet, Monorails, EMS, CDLR, Towveyor, Fork Transfers,
VDLs and special Design/Build Applications) is a plus.Installation
experience of conveyor support systems and safety requirements is a
plus.Knowledge of conveyor function as well as their capabilities
and limitations is a plus.Experience with customers such as: BMW,
Honda (AL & GA), Hyundai, KIA, MBUSI, Nissan (MS & TN), Volvo
Truck, Toyota (MS & TX) is a plus.Experience with field equipment
including forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, lulls, all types
of crane sizing calculations and usage is a plus.Knowledge of any
of the following: fabrications, iron working, piping, pneumatics,
sheet metal, mechanical drives, heavy equipment relocation and
setting, millwright and rigging work is a plus.Tsubaki is an Equal
