Job Description:

The LMJ Group of Hotels is looking for an experienced and passionate Hotel General Manager for our Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational, management, communication, and customer service skills. This position is responsible for leading the hotel team and providing a strategy to achieve maximum performance. Responsibilities:
--- Objectives for Front Desk, F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Operation, and Reports.
--- Achieve the most efficient operating model.
--- Sales, revenue, forecast management, rates packages, and promotions.
--- Analise budgets, interpret financial information, and Monitor sales & profits.
--- Review, Analise and improve the STAR reports and LTR regularly.
--- Reconcile accounts receivable and manage cash handling procedures.
--- Marketing strategy, interaction with the sales team, effective usage of social media, and creating local & national marketing plans.
--- Effective PM plan and repair evaluations.
--- QA Inspection preparation and planning.
--- Inspect facilities regularly.
--- Enforce Policies & procedures to comply with federal, state, and local ordinances.
--- Inventory and ordering management for F&B and Housekeeping supplies.
--- Staff hiring, training, scheduling, certification, and communication software.

Qualifications:
--- Degree in Hotel / Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
--- 5+ years of experience as a Hotel General Manager.
--- Knowledge of Improving LTR, STAR report, and guest review system.
--- Knowledge of MS Office, Hotel management software, Hotel accounting software (M3, Nimble, QuickBooks, etc.), and understanding of P&L statements.
--- Decision-making and problem-solving aptitude.
--- Outstanding leadership skills and an attention to detail.
--- Excellent time management skills.
--- Professional work culture, attitude, and appearance.
