Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join a private, well-established multi-specialty group in Birmingham, AL. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected group in the heart of Birmingham.
Aside from OB/GYN services, the practice also has specialists in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Hematology-Oncology, Optometry, Ophthalmology, Rheumatology, and Podiatry. All specialists are housed in one building conveniently located on the campus of Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
Highlights:

• Full-time opportunity with established, private, multi-specialty group
  
• Work week includes 3 days of clinic, one day of GYN surgery, and one day off
  
• Weeknight call and weekend is 1:5 (shared with another practice)
  
• Midwives manage L&D and postpartum (physician provides back-up)
  
• Princeton Baptist has a Level 2 NICU, 24/7 Anesthesia services, and Midwifery services
  
• Practice has CT/MRI/Dexa/Mammo/Ultrasound/Infusion center all housed under one roof (Robotics available at the hospital)
  
  This practice provides a large referral base and the position offers a good amount of autonomy. They have the highest VBAC success rate in Birmingham and are also the only practice in the city that offers midwifery services and group prenatal care.
  Candidate Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • MD or DO required
    
  • Board certification/board eligibility with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology
    
  • Candidates must be comfortable with a collaborative practice setting and working closely with midwives
    
  • Alabama licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Alabama
