Job Description:
Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking a Pediatrician for a
full-time employed opportunity in Talladega, AL. Join one other
pediatrician and 2 NPs in an established practice just walking
distance from our hospital, Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
· Full-time, employed opportunity – available immediately
· Monday-Friday, regular business hours

Citizens Baptist Medical Center is a 122-bed, multi-specialty
facility with approximately 300 employees. The hospital offers a
comprehensive range of clinical services including obstetrics,
gastroenterology, ENT, orthopedics, cardiology, and a hospitalist
program. Citizens is part of the Brookwood Baptist Health network
and serves Talladega County and beyond.
Talladega is home to the Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR's popular
motorsports park, as well as the International Motor Sports Hall of
Fame. For outdoor enthusiasts, Talladega boasts the gateway to Mt.
Cheaha, the highest point in Alabama, located within Cheaha State
Park which is surrounded by the Talladega National Forest.
Those choosing to commute from Birmingham to Talladega will find a
short 45 minute drive each way. Birmingham is the largest city in
Alabama with a population of 1.1 million people in the greater
metropolitan area and it offers easy access to Alabama's Gulf
Coast, and other major metropolitan cities like Nashville and
Atlanta. The greater Birmingham area offers excellent schools, both
public and private, a major college of medicine, golf courses,
semi-pro sports teams, and multiple state and local parks.
Candidates must be BE/BC and eligible to obtain licensure in the
State of Alabama.
