Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking an additional Pediatrician to
join and established practice in Jasper, Alabama. The practice is
located near Walker Baptist Medical Center and currently has three
other providers.
Walker Baptist Medical Center is a 267 bed, acute care facility
located in Jasper, Alabama, which is approximately 35 minutes from
the metro Birmingham area. This facility has over 600 employees and
offers a comprehensive range of clinical services. Walker Baptist
Medical Center received a five-star rating for spinal surgery,
total knee replacement, as well as COPD treatment.
Jasper is home to Lewis Smith Lake, a large recreational lake
that's perfect for fishing, swimming, and boating. The city also
offers great golf courses, parks, museums, and local dining.
Those choosing to commute from Birmingham to Jasper will find a
short 35 minute drive each way. Birmingham is the largest city in
Alabama with a population of 1.1 million people in the great
metropolitan area and offers easy access to Alabama's Gulf Coast,
and other major metropolitan cities like Nashville and Atlanta. The

private, a major college of medicine, golf courses, semi-pro sports
teams, and multiple state and local parks.
Candidates must be BE/BC with the American Board of Pediatrics and
eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Alabama.
