Job Description:

LabCorp is seeking a Specialty Lab Assistant to join our team in Birmingham, AL. - This role works in a high volume, production based environment with our Cytology team.

The schedule for this position will be: Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00am - 7:30pm, full time. -

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Completing record logs
• Other administrative duties as requested.
  
  Requirements:
  • Previous medical/lab or production experience is preferred but not required.
  • Seeking a candidate that has high attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, able to prioritize, multitask, and possess strong communication skills.
