Job Description:
Position Summary
To conduct and understand all study activities including more
complex protocols in accordance with the protocol, IRB regulations,
and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). To manage the life cycle of the
clinical trial from study start-up through trial maintenance to
study closure. To perform complex clinical procedures as required
by the protocol. To provide quality patient care to patients and
their families within the area of clinical specialty. May serve as
a resource person or act as a subject matter expert (SME) within
the area of clinical expertise.
This position will provide and support all aspects of coordination
for clinical research. Tasks will include subject screening,
recruitment, consenting, protocol-driven nursing skills, data
collection and assessments, AE and SAE assessments, communicating
with the research team and the principal investigator, and working
with sponsors and monitors.
Annual Pay Range: $67,070 - $108,990
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related
experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for
education requirements. Certified Clinical Research Coordinator
(CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP)
certification preferred. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse
(RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
The ideal candidate should be versatile and know all aspects of
conducting and coordinating clinical research.
