Compensation:Pay Range: $26.56 - $44.35 / hour- Benefits

personally and professionally.Unit Details:The High-Risk Obstetrics
Unit is an 18-bed intermediate care unit that provides
comprehensive care to high-risk antepartum patients. Nurses on this
unit assess and monitor patients and fetuses, report changes in
clinical status to providers, provide patient education, respond to
obstetric emergencies, and participate in shared decision-making
with the interdisciplinary care team.UAB Women & Infants Services
provides compassionate, comprehensive care for mothers and babies
in our state-of-the-art Women & Infants Center, which is recognized
as a Baby-Friendly birth facility by Baby-Friendly USA. In addition
to being a Women's Choice Award Best Hospital, UAB is consistently
ranked among the nation's best hospitals by U.S. News & World
Report, which in 2023 recognized our OB/GYN specialty as the No. 13

match.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Nursing program
required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Work experience
may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or
eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama
Board of Nursing required. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be
obtained within 30 days of employment. Depending on the
unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American
Heart Association (AHA) may be required.Primary Location: UAB
