Employment Duration: Full timeDepartment: Coosa Valley Medical CenterSpecialty Pharmacy Technician/LiaisonCoosa Valley Specialty PharmacySylacauga, ALPAYS $24/HOUR!As a full time, nonexempt Specialty Pharmacy Technician/Liaison you will provide customer service and expertise to patients, providers and team members regarding specialty pharmacy enrollment, prescription processing, benefits inquiries, prescription status inquiries, and any other question as it pertains to their account. This includes communicating with the clinic staff to obtain the number of patients scheduled for appointments, determining their insurance coverage by accessing the electronic medical record (EMR) greeting the patients and providing verbal and written information about the specialty pharmacy program. Working in the pharmacy as needed will also be a requirement for this position. The Specialty Pharmacy Liaison Technician works under the direct supervision of the Director of Specialty Pharmacy.Schedule: This position will work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM.About the Facility: Coosa Valley is Joint Commission Accredited acute-care hospital licensed for 168 beds located in Sylacauga, Alabama . This facility serves Talladega and surrounding counties. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.About the Pharmacy: The Specialty Pharmacy utilizes PioneerRx.
