Job Description:
The Mammography Technologist performs routine and advanced
imaging procedures, supports other technologists, and ensures
efficient patient flow.
They demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts and
locations as needed.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, participating
in QA, maintaining image quality, and adhering to safety and
compliance standards.
They support staff development, promote physician satisfaction, and
uphold confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiology
Technology program, ARRT Mammography certification, state
licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of imaging
experience.
Work schedule is full-time, 5 days a week, 8 hours daily.
The role emphasizes adherence to organizational values, ongoing
education, and technical proficiency.
