Position Opportunity Details Medicus is collaborating with a
hospital in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with an opportunity
for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist their
team with short-term locum Hospitalist coverage. Opportunity
Highlights: - Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 2p-10p, specific dates -
No call required - Daily Census: 17-21 total inpatients, 8-10
patients per APP, 9-13 admissions - Duties: Admissions, consults,
co-management of ED holds and admitted patients - Team Structure: 2
hospitalist physicians, 4 APPs - Comprehensive Support Staff:
General surgery, emergency medicine, OB/GYN, cardiology,
orthopedics, ENT, primary care, and oncology - EMR: Epic - Must be
board-certified - Paid travel & expenses In your time off, go
