Surg for a travel nursing job in Anniston, Alabama. Job Description

Details: • Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement •
Option for 4x12 hour shifts available • Float to like units as
needed • Possible charge nurse responsibilities as needed • Must
work at least 1 of the 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or
Christmas Day • Patient ratio of 1:6 (nurse to patient) • 30-minute
lunch break required - no skipped meals policy • Patient population
includes adults and geriatrics • 1 year of nursing experience
required • Previous charge experience preferred • Level II trauma
experience preferred • Travel experience preferred • Alabama
nursing license required • Current BLS via AHA certification
required • Fit test required • NIHSS certification preferred •
Skills include IV starts, isolation precautions, wound care/wound
vac, blood product administration, colostomy care, feeding tube
management, heparin and insulin administration, PCA, peripheral and
PICC line management, and surgical drain care • Must adhere to
facility call-in policy • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
