registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse
with expertise in step-down care to provide specialized nursing
support in a dynamic cardiac care setting. This contract position
offers the chance to work with patients experiencing coronary
artery disease, cardiac surgery recoveries, and dysrhythmias in a
focused, high-acuity environment. Location: Trussville, AL
Responsibilities: Deliver skilled nursing care in a cardiac
step-down unit supporting coronary artery disease, CABG recovery,
and dysrhythmia management Monitor patients with a nurse-to-patient
ratio of approximately 1:4 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
to support cardiac cath lab procedures, open-heart surgery,
ablation, and ICD monitoring Utilize Epic for comprehensive patient
charting and documentation Provide clinical support to neighboring
units including cardiac short stay and chest pain observation
Maintain proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS protocols Schedule:
12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Choose between 36 or 48
hours per week Commitment to every other weekend coverage
Qualifications: Current RN license with step-down unit experience
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Comfortable working
with complex cardiac cases and specialized cardiac procedures
Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records system Ability to
wear navy blue scrubs as per unit policy Trussville, AL offers a
