Overview: The Senior Mammography Technologist is responsible for
executing specialized radiological procedures aimed at diagnosing
and treating breast conditions, while ensuring exceptional imaging
quality and patient care in outpatient environments. This position
entails quality control duties in accordance with MQSA and FDA
standards, and may also require general radiography or bone
densitometry tasks based on the specific location. Job Description
This role necessitates the execution of various radiological
technical procedures tailored to the diagnosis and treatment of
breast diseases in a busy outpatient setting, whether stationary or
mobile. The technologist is accountable for generating high-quality
radiographic images while providing compassionate and supportive
interactions with patients. Additionally, this position involves
conducting necessary quality control measures as stipulated by the
Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA, either as a
designated Quality Control technologist or under their supervision.
Depending on the site, the technologist may also be required to
apply general radiography skills for diagnostic exams, perform bone
densitometry (DEXA), or carry out breast-related specialized
procedures in collaboration with medical staff. At our

Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program that
meets the criteria for registration by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon hiring: Washington Radiologic
Technologist license Upon hiring: National Provider BLS
certification from the American Heart Association Upon hiring:
National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from
the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must obtain
National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification within
one year of hire Preferred Qualifications: Two years of full-time

represents base pay; additional compensation may be available for
