ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Anniston, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details: • Work every other weekend (EOW) schedule • Maintain 1:5 patient ratio during days, 1:6 patient ratio during nights and weekends • Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Alabama nursing license • Must have 2 years of nursing experience • Required work settings experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, and PCU/Stepdown/Med-Tele • Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required • Must be able to start IVs and manage Heparin protocols • Manage cardiac drips without titration • Skills include telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams • Blood product administration and central/peripheral line care • Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management • Maintain isolation precautions as needed • Accepts first-time travelers and local candidates within 60-mile radius • Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed • Requested time off must be included at confirmation and limited to 7 days maximum • Orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 8 hours Facility: This healthcare facility operates a Progressive Care Unit that provides intermediate-level care for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized cardiac care.
