Division of Cardiovascular Disease seeks a Heart Failure Physician
to join UAB Medicine, consistently ranked among the nation's top 50
hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery. Connect with us today
to learn more. Opportunity Highlights Join UAB Medicine,
consistently ranked among the nation's top 50 hospitals for
cardiology and heart surgery Manage all aspects of heart failure,
including transplant and VADs, with access to the largest pulmonary
hypertension unit in the southeast Engage in teaching and research
opportunities while enrolling patients in clinical trials Practice
with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Pursue
research and faculty responsibilities with flexible accommodations
available Work with 25-30 heart transplants and over 50 VADs
performed annually with continued program growth Manage 20-25 HTICU
patients divided between 4 physicians in a dedicated 20-bed
transplant intensive care unit Perform right/left heart caths and
biopsies during weekly outpatient cath lab rotation for transplant
patients Experience dual-organ transplantation, including
