Job Description Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Birmingham, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel - Pt. population is general m/s but many they say may have DM, CHF, waiting for a SNF, one of the units designated for stroke patients. - Patients may be remotely monitored on telemetry, but RN not required to be a m/s tele RN. - They do have a unit secretary from 7a-11p most days and their goal is to have 3 patient care techs each shift. - Unit: 4 West - Ratios; 1:4/5 - RN are expected to care for COVID pts as needed and dictated by census Requirements: - NO LOCALS - 1/26 to 2/16 Start Dates - Perm Employees need to be gone for 6 months before returning - Must have AL License or Compact - 1-2 References/Evals - Skills Checklist within 12 months (Specialty of job submitting) - Copies of ALL Required Certs - Min 2 Years of experience - Previous Travel experience required - CERNER Required - Drivers License 48 Hours, multiple openings, quick offers. Cerner experience required. Perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year.
