Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our dynamic healthcare team, supporting patient recovery in both our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and our home health settings. As a Dietitian at Encompass Health, you will play a vital role in creating customized nutritional plans tailored to each patient's unique health needs, fostering an environment of healing and well-being. Our ideal candidate is passionate about nutritional science and possesses a deep understanding of the latest dietetics practices and guidelines. Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to determine dietary needs and health status of patients. Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans and dietary counseling for a diverse patient population. Monitor and evaluate patient progress towards desired health outcomes, adjusting dietary plans as required. Educate patients and families on proper nutritional habits and preventive measures post-treatment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and effective communication. Document patient care and outcomes in line with regulatory, state, and federal guidelines. Strong knowledge of nutritional guidelines and clinical nutrition. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Proficiency in dietary planning software and patient management systems. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of practice.
