Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is
available within a K-12 school serving elementary and Pre-K
students in Shelby, NC. This contract position runs through May
20th, 2026, with an immediate start date. The role offers a
structured 37.5-hour workweek across five days, providing
consistent engagement with a dynamic student population.
Qualifications and Experience: Hold a valid North Carolina
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License Possess credentials such as
CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or be actively completing
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in school-based SLP
settings preferred Skilled in assessing and treating speech and
language disorders in children Key Responsibilities: Conduct
evaluations and screenings for speech and language impairments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary
and Pre-K students Collaborate with educators, families, and other
professionals to support student progress Maintain documentation
and compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in
team meetings and contribute to fostering communication skills
