Key Responsibilities (may vary by client): Assess patients with physical, psychosocial, and/or cognitive challenges to determine the potential benefits of occupational therapy for enhancing their quality of life. Collaborate with physicians and the care team to design, implement, and evaluate patient care plans aimed at restoring or maintaining well-being. Maintain comprehensive documentation of care provided and engage in care coordination with other team members. Educate and train caregivers and family members of patients. Supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants and Aides, as needed, ensuring patient care aligns with individual requirements.
