our goals. Unlock your potential! Job Summary and Qualifications
MRI Technologist - PRN/Per Diem Our imaging teams are a committed,
caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a
Florida-licensed, ARRT-registered MRI Tech on a PRN/per
diem/as-needed basis to provide magnetic resonance imaging services
to patients performing procedures in a compassionate and respectful
manner. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be
your next career opportunity. As an MRI Technologist your duties
include but are not limited to: - Demonstrate a strong and thorough
knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment - Obtain high-quality
MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for
interpretation - Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper
technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and
select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material -
Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty,
safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated -
Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain
informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH
accurately and on time - Maintain proactive and effective
communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to
include the radiologist - Check the operation of the equipment,
maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent
cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked
with necessary supplies - Accept on-call and call-back
responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care
Qualifications · Valid American Registry or Radiologic Technologist
(ARRT) registry · Clear/active Florida Department of Health
licensure (CRT) · Associate’s degree · Current Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification · Organizational, verbal, interpersonal,
customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling,
computer, clerical skills Ability to read/comprehend written
instructions and follow verbal instructions HCA Florida St.
