Division of Cardiovascular Disease seeks a Heart Failure Physician
to join UAB Medicine, consistently ranked among the nation's top 50
hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery. Connect with us today
to learn more. Opportunity Highlights · Join UAB Medicine,
consistently ranked among the nation's top 50 hospitals for
cardiology and heart surgery · Manage all aspects of heart failure,
including transplant and VADs, with access to the largest pulmonary
hypertension unit in the southeast · Engage in teaching and
research opportunities while enrolling patients in clinical trials
· Practice with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
· Pursue research and faculty responsibilities with flexible
accommodations available · Work with 25-30 heart transplants and
over 50 VADs performed annually with continued program growth ·
Manage 20-25 HTICU patients divided between 4 physicians in a
dedicated 20-bed transplant intensive care unit · Perform
right/left heart caths and biopsies during weekly outpatient cath
lab rotation for transplant patients · Experience dual-organ
transplantation, including heart/lung and heart/kidney procedures,
