: Partial We are seeking an experienced and driven Nurse Manager to
lead our Labor and Delivery (L&D) team. This is a vital
leadership role that blends hands-on clinical expertise with strong
administrative and team management skills. You’ll oversee
day-to-day operations of the L&D unit, ensuring the delivery of
safe, high-quality, and compassionate care for mothers and babies.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage all clinical and administrative
aspects of the Labor & Delivery department Ensure consistent 24/7
staffing coverage and manage daily operational flow Mentor,
evaluate, and develop nursing staff, ensuring clinical excellence
and engagement Promote collaborative practice between nursing,
providers, and ancillary departments Drive performance improvement
initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies and
patient safety standards Foster an environment that prioritizes
patient and family-centered care Serve as a resource for obstetric
emergencies and L&D-specific protocols Requirements: Graduate
of an accredited nursing school BSN required , or commitment to
obtain if not already held Minimum 5 years of Labor & Delivery RN
experience Leadership experience in a nursing or clinical setting
In-depth understanding of OR procedures and L&D protocols
Current and unrestricted RN license (no disciplinary actions) The
following certifications are required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Preferred: Experience in other critical care areas such as ICU 10
years of nursing experience Strong decision-making skills and the
ability to work independently using sound judgment Ready to take
