Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Tuscaloosa, AL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,002 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401! Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty, with consideration given to applicants with a minimum of 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license. License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: AHA BLS or American Red Cross certification required Must-Have: - Associate degree in nursing - Ability to float to other units and hospitals - Willingness to work holidays and every other weekend Description: The position requires a travel nurse in a newly reopened oncology unit. This unit is dedicated to patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses. Nurses in this unit will have a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. The role involves specialization in the administration of chemotherapy. Nurses will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff. The team is committed to providing compassionate and specialized nursing care for patients with cancer.
