Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Travel
LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) Registered Nurse to join our team for a
travel placement in Birmingham, Alabama. This role is ideal for a
compassionate nurse who thrives in high-acuity environments and is
committed to delivering exceptional patient care. With Gifted
Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team
of professional healthcare staff dedicated to maintaining high
standards of care, and enhancing patient recovery in an LTAC
setting. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to
critically ill patients. Monitor patient health and progress
effectively, adjusting care plans as needed. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment
plans, and healthcare needs post-discharge. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and safety standards. Administer medications
and maintain accurate health records and reports. Strong clinical
skills in an acute care or LTAC setting. Ability to work
effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent
communication and organizational skills. Proficient in electronic
health record (EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Alabama or a compact state. BLS certification from the American
Heart Association. ACLS certification preferred.
