Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN) for travel or local assignments in Birmingham, Alabama. As a PCU RN, you will be responsible for managing the care of adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non-life-threatening conditions. You will operate in a high-paced environment, ensuring outstanding patient care and accurate assessment of patient conditions. Monitor and record patient vitals and treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment. Strong clinical skills in a PCU setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic healthcare documentation systems Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama or ability to obtain one Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Job Sub Category within Industry: Nursing
