Job Description Position Overview Pay range: $170,000 - $220,318
/ year Sign-on bonus: $45,000 new hire sign-on bonus may be
available and a $10,000 yearly incentive (paid monthly) may be

of over 200 CRNAs manages 100,000 cases annually at more than 150
anesthetizing locations across our medical campus and some UAB St.
Vincent’s facilities. From cancer and transplantation to trauma and
same-day surgery, our CRNAs work alongside world-renowned providers
and a host of other dedicated team members to deliver on our
mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care. As a leading
academic medical center, UAB Medicine offers CRNAs the opportunity
to challenge their skills across a full range of clinical
specialties and experience a wide variety of cases, in both
inpatient and outpatient settings. From cancer and transplantation
to trauma and same-day surgery, plus diagnostic and complex
interventional cardiac, radiologic, and GI procedures, our 140
CRNAs work on 50,000 cases annually as a part of our
interdisciplinary care teams to deliver the highest-quality care
for our patients. Job Description To provide anesthesia under the
direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures
and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic surgical procedures and
cardiac catheterizations. To participate in clinical instruction of
nurse anesthesia students. QualificationsGraduate from an
accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required. Work experience may
NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified as an
Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Certified Registered Nurse
Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing
required. Currently certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) required. Currently certified with Basic Life Support (BLS)
from the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Currently
certified with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the
