Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Anniston, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Registered Nurse - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work every other weekend with 12-hour shifts /n• Patient ratio of 1:5 during days, nights, and weekends /n• Float to Med/Surg units as needed /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Alabama license /n• Must have 2 years of nursing experience /n• Required work settings experience: MS/Tele, Tele, and PCU/Stepdown /n• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required /n• Must be able to start IVs and follow Heparin protocols /n• Manage cardiac drips without titration /n• Skills required: Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Rapid Response/Code team participation /n• Blood product administration and central/peripheral line care /n• Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management /n• Isolation precautions and PPE compliance /n• Accepts first-time travelers /n• Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed /n• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed /n• Orientation includes specialty-specific modules /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility features a Progressive Care Unit that provides intermediate-level care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and specialized nursing interventions.
