specialty, existing group Employment agreement, pathway to
partnership Sign on bonus, moving expenses Medical, Dental, Vision,
plus 401K Practice opened in 1975 5 exam rooms General surgery
block time Patients seen per day 5 – 20 patients in clinic 3 – 4
clinics per week E clinical works – EMR Physicians go to rural
hospitals to grow practice Practice in Birmingham Typical day:
rounding before clinic, clinic, home after clinic Call 1:4 for
weeknights and weekends No buy in Cooperative, collegial group
