registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) supporting newborns
requiring critical medical attention. This contract position is
based in Pelham, AL, offering an opportunity to apply your RN
skills in a demanding and rewarding environment dedicated to
neonatal care. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care
to neonatal patients in a 32-bed NICU with patient ratios of 3:1.
Collaborate with healthcare team to monitor and assess patient
conditions. Utilize EMR (Cerner) to document patient care
accurately. Adhere to established protocols and maintain a high
standard of infection control. Work PM shifts, covering 36
guaranteed hours weekly, including every other weekend coverage.
Maintain a professional appearance with navy scrubs and natural
nails as per dress code policies. Qualifications: Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years NICU experience.
Certifications required: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and
Basic Life Support (BLS). Ability to work PM shifts with no call
requirements. Familiarity with Cerner EMR system preferred.
