Job Description & Requirements Interim OR Manager StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $140000.00 - $150000.00 Interim OR Manager Needed in Birmingham, Alabama! The Position - An Interim OR Manager is needed to provide operational and people leadership for a busy surgical services department during a period of continued growth. - Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, this leader will oversee approximately 100 FTEs. - Key responsibilities include leading daily operations for the main OR and CVOR, promoting accountability and consistent practices, and helping improve efficiency across scheduling, turnover, and case flow while guiding the team through ongoing growth. - The ideal candidate will have strong surgical services leadership experience, including experience supporting OR growth, building accountability, and strengthening team alignment in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. - Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements - BSN required; master's degree preferred. - Active Alabama RN license required. - Prior OR leadership experience required, with a strong background in surgical services and experience supporting quality, operational efficiency, and team performance in a complex perioperative setting. Pay Details - Pay Range: $140,000 - $150,000 annually. - The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. - The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
